Located in Princeton, New Jersey, Princeton University is a private Ivy League university. Princeton is one of the premier colleges in the world, renowned for its esteemed alumni network, demanding academic program, and, of course, its stunning campus.
Its campus is breathtakingly gorgeous. It consists of various large extensive buildings and structures all throughout the walking area. It is very much common to see students alike and tourists taking photos of such aforementioned structures because of their architecture.
After visiting the fourth-oldest institution of higher education in the United States we will head out to Philadelphia, the birthplace of The United States.
Elfreth’s Alley, a 1703-era historic street in Philadelphia, is the first stop in Philadelphia.
The Betsy Ross House, with its vast historical significance, follows next.
We’ll get off the vehicle at Independence National Historical Park and take a guided walking tour that takes us to see Independence Hall, the Free Quaker Meetinghouse, the President’s House Site, the First and Second Bank of the United States, Carpenters’ Hall, Library Hall, and the Liberty Bell Center, among other sights. Philadelphia has more than 330 years of US history waiting for you.
When one thinks of Philadelphia the first thing that comes to mind is the liberty bell. Originally housed in the independence hall, it now has its own building: the Liberty Bell Center. The center is filled with plenty of history about the Liberty Bell, and there is also of course the bell itself.
Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution was debated and signed. Betsy Ross house is a small house with a big history, with Betsy Ross being credited with stitching the first American flag.
City Hall will be next, which is the beautiful centerpiece of the city. Anchoring the long expanse of Broad Street, it offers an almost castle-like atmosphere with its intricate arches and stairways. You will then be able to run the “Rocky Steps”, with the perfect photo and video opportunity waiting for you at the top of these iconic stairs. Philadelphia loves Rocky, and this is a truly iconic place with countless tourists lining up to grab a photo and doing their best Balboa impressions running up the steps.
